T. N. Kakaji (TNK) stays in Cannaught Place, Delhi and owned a flat in Rail Kunj, Sector-3, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. He planned to re-paint his flat before leasing it to new tenants. In second week of April-2016, he communicated with us and realized our venture e-Ghar.com which facilitates the home construction & maintenance in Vasundhara, Vaishali, Indrapuram and Noida. He raised painting query on our Mobile Website for his flat and our customer care assigned a personalized manager Mr. Antriksh to him who collected his requirements. Against the requirements, three painters Mr. Lal Bahadur, Mr. Rohtas and Mr. Salim quoted for the work. We brought the quotation to the comparative level in terms of price, terms & condition, technical specification and product quality for all contractors. A screenshot of same is shown below which got mailed to TNK.
Alongwith comparative we shared that e-Ghar.com is adding value with its expert advisory in construction & app based technological platform. Customers are free to engage any other contractor as part of negotiation and we bring him on same comparative platform. Currently, this feature is free of cost but team e-Ghar charges 10% for supervision of work in case external contractor is engaged.
In this project, TNK understood the concept and asked us to continue with registered contractors with anthor round of negotiation. In late April-16, the comparative was finalized and Mr. Lal Bahadur suited him best against the requirements. Formally, painting works kicked off on 7th May 2016 in presence of e-ghar Manager, Contractor, Customer and Prospective tenant at flat. TNK appreciated the amount of clarity they had with their contractor and kicked the project on same day with lowest price contractor. He has saved more than 20% using the service of e-Ghar.com.
Tenants asked some additional wooden work and TNK has no problem because he knows mobile application of e-Ghar. com this time. He just raised another woodwork query and waited for comparative. TNK feels that awarding of work is very professional with e-Ghar.com but his next worry is execution process and quality of material contractor is going to engage.
We felt problems of TNK as general challenges of flat owners and household owners so decided to publish a story in this line which should be helpful to all those who wants to paint. And that painting can either be in vasundhara or painting in vaishali or painting in indirapuram or painting in Noida.
